These 3 pieces come together to tell a story centered around pumpkin seeds which were somethingharvested by my abuelo as my mother and her family grew up it was something that was apart of the seasons that came and went coming together and providingnot only food, but a means to continue living by selling them along with other crops at the time.The bottom frame holds the seeds in hand shaped in the form of a heart love comes in many different ways sometimes it’s not verbal but simply an act such as a full belly.

When you tend to something it sprouts.

The second picture is me holding a portrait of my grandparents along with my mom and tias the love and care they were given continues to grow and the final picture is a portrait of me.

When you plant something and shower it with love and care things blossom andbear fruit, in this casethe children we come to raise.
